| I will have to admit - I got lucky when I brought Josephine back in December 2006. As you will see from the photos on my Picasa library, the frame looks (and is) in excellant shape. I have looked at other restoration sites where they are replacing the cross members or straightening out major frame members. The only work I have had to do on the frame was to clean it up with sand blasting from Master Blasters, Caldwell ID and then had it powder-coated by RPMS, Marsing ID. In a lot of readings from others who have gone through this I got it that I needed to check for unseen frame damage that may have warped or twisted the frame. Thanks to the good people at MGA Guru, I found a diagram that gave me the specifications and tolerances for a good frame (see the GIF attachment to the right). WOW! it came well within all measurements and tolerances! Now the frame is done! Time to move on the the rear axle, rear brakes, springs and rear shocks.
