This is the story of Josephine - how she came into our lives and the long road to new life. Josephine is a 1958 MGA Roadster that we found in Grants Pass, Josephine County, Oregon (hence her christened name).

Jo came into our family on December 8, 2006 and has shared a spot in the family garage next to her younger sister, Maggie. Which, by the way is a 1968 MGB.

You will see from the photos that Jo is in very good shape. This in itself is amazing because the last registration was in 1988. Because she is in good shape I have waiver just to what extent the "restoration" should be. I could have choose just to fix the brakes (which were totally gone) and drove her around for awhile. But it didn't take long before I had found that except for having her body off everything else was removed. It was at this point when I decided to do a complete frame-off restore. Even though she really didn't need it.

The Links to the left will take you through her story after she became a part of the family. Please join Jo's Blog at http://mgajosephine.blogspot.com/. I am sure she will appreciate your comments, questions and suggestions!
